Add My Voice

Yesterday provided an opportunity to vote for candidates who represent the most value to us. Issues of humanity, employment, economy, the environment, our neighborhood, and education for one another for those around us who work to be of service, making our existence healthier, safer, and infinitely better, were on the ballot. In this example, there was a position with two candidates campaigning for it. One candidate has considerable experience in community service involving people, while the other has experience in environmental care. I thought about these two people and decided that realistically, we should want both of them to work for our community because they represent the best way to document and arrange services for our sustainable life needs. Our awareness of the environment, the galaxy, and life on our planet has grown significantly with technology. Our need for representation has grown with awareness. So let’s expand the position to include actionable representation of both concerns, because we need to allow it to happen; however, it would probably take an act of legislation or citizens canvassing for signatures of registered voters to put the issue up on a ballot for two seats for each city council position, with one focused on business and humanity, and the other on environmental health and economy. Or- perhaps a Governor can appoint positions to improve our communities in the state. Which way would be the most effective with immediate results? The idea is to solve the problems with the best solutions for all of us, while ensuring the continued existence and improvement of our human species, by voting for the correct candidate or candidates. When people are campaigning to be the best service,  in exceptional situations, we should be able to vote for and employ both.
