It is true that some projects require more time than 24 hours. This particular project required many hours and many edits. The adventure began when I experimented putting some leaves from the garden with paper card stock and silk to bring to a boil in a large pan. After the water boiled, simmered, and cooled, I gently took the items out of the pan to separate and let air dry. That project was successful because the experiment met my expectations. Some of the dyed imagery looked like they could be characters in a story, so I put them into this story:
